Our Wedding

We met on a weekend trip with friends over 4th of July, 2022, and it's fair to say that neither of us expected to meet the person we'd be making vows to one day, but life works in mysterious ways, doesn't it? We were living completely across the country from each other at the time, Tevon in Florida and Addie in Arizona, so a relationship between us didn't feel particularly likely when we were first getting to know each other. Still, after the trip ended and we were back in our home states, we continued to text and talk, getting closer every day and planning the next time we'd be able to see each other. After several weeks of this, we reunited when Tevon came to Arizona to visit. We were able to finally go on our first actual date (Orange Sky - very classy, very impressive to Addie, great oysters), and at that point we both knew that our long-distance connection was something very real that we wanted to pursue. Which is probably why we took a picture together, and we can both say that was definitely the first time we've ever chosen to document a first date. After one more trip out to Arizona, we were in a committed relationship. A few months later, Tevon packed up and moved all the way across the country, driving from Florida to Arizona in just 33 hours. Since then, we've been basically inseparable - building our life, loving and supporting each other, laughing constantly, and resting in the knowledge that we never have to face the tough days alone.
